Cambridge Authors for Short Stories Compilation Book Announced

June 3rd, 2024, Fuse, an inter-arts organization, is proud to announce the local writers who have been chosen to be included in a book titled, 'It Came from Cambridge Volume 1.' 

It is the first time in the history of the City of Cambridge that a short stories compilation featuring new and established Cambridge authors is being published.  


This local short story collection will be published June 15th, 2024, in paperback and eBook formats available through Amazon and local independent booksellers.  


Cambridge authors submitted stories to be considered for publication in March 2023. The stories were peer reviewed and 13 stories were accepted to be included in the book. 


The authors included in 'It Came from Cambridge; Volume 1 - Short stories from people who live there ' are:

Paul Langan, president of Fuse and local author states, “It has been a true pleasure to take on the responsibility of managing the production of this anthology of short stories written by up-and-coming and well-known Cambridge, Ontario writers. The short stories that were submitted are of high quality and cover a wide range of topics, making them engaging to read. Cambridge's literary arts have a promising future.”  


An official launch of the book will be held on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at 13 Food & Beverage, 13 Main Street, Cambridge. It is open to the public. Spaces are limited, preregister at:  


ABOUT FUSE - Fuse is a registered charity dedicated to making the arts more accessible in Waterloo Region through the collaborative creation, modern technologies, education, and addressing stigmas in the arts. We connect our community with the arts through live and virtual events showcasing local artists, such as previous Spoken Word events.  


ABOUT PAUL LANGAN - Paul Langan has self-published 25 books and is a community builder in the City of Cambridge. He has volunteered for over 25 years in community sports and arts organizations.
